I’m writing this a little bit belatedly, because the first day didn’t really exist, due to jetlag. My tip with jetlag is to be kind to myself on the first day, so I just stayed as a vegetable.
I sit here in a mountainside hotel, with one of the most amazing views I could imagine. Something is really drawing me to the mountains recently, as you might have seen I was in Albania wilderness last week, breathing in that gorgeous air.
I’m here to work once again with Barakura English Garden. I think this is now my sixth visit, I am so honoured that they keep asking me to come back, to teach their students about container planting, and a whole load of other things. See more about my work HERE.
But, first, there was a bonus day, as I was taken with the students to the Japanese Flower Trials! You’ve probably seen the European version as I’ve been working with it for a few years, so it was very exciting for me to see what they’re doing right on the other side of the world!
The day was full of plant geek squeals, even if it was culturally embarrassing, LOL! Especially when you see THIS…
