Each summer, FleuroSelect’s FleuroStar Award recognises the plant with the strongest visual impact at point of sale – a title that signals standout performance, both for retailers and gardeners. Selected by a panel of industry professionals, the winner earns its place as the variety most likely to catch the eye and inspire a purchase.
This year, seven top breeders have entered their most striking novelties, from bold dahlias to vibrant sunflowers, each with something unique to offer. The official winner will be announced on Thursday 12th June at the FlowerTrials event in Rijsenhout.
But what about public opinion? While the judges deliberate, I’m inviting you to take part in my People’s Choice Award 2025, a light-hearted chance to vote for your favourite. Your choice won’t affect the official outcome, but it’s a fun way to share which plant stands out most to you.
Take a look at this year’s entries and cast your vote.
