For me, there’s always a moment or two to flick through a book and learn something new, or be marvelled by a detailed illustration! That’s exactly what I’ve tried to create with Hortus Curious, my debut book.
It’s filled with the weird and wacky plants and fungi of the world, from the incredible titan arum (with the largest unbranched inflorescence in the world) to Ecballium elaterium, otherwise known as the shooting cucumber (I’ll let you discover what that’s all about). At 192 pages long, there’s so much plant info and so many illustrations to keep you occupied, whether you’re just flicking through or sitting down for a long read.
If you haven’t yet got your hands on a copy of the book, here’s how to get one for free!
