Deep sea diving... at RHS Wisley 🌊
Ahoy there matey! 🦜
Grab a shipmate - there’s something at RHS Wisley that you might want to check out over the next month.
If you’re based in or around Surrey, or even a little further afield, it’s worth making a trip to the RHS gardens at Wisley before 12th March 2023 to see their Deep Sea Dive display.
Now, the nautical theme is nothing new when it comes to gardening. We’ve seen it at all of the RHS shows, in public garden displays, and in show gardens across the country. However, RHS Wisley has done something a little different here - and it might just be enough to pique even the biggest eye roller’s interest!
The Deep Sea Dive display comprises solely houseplants! It’s aim? To inspire visitors to get creative with greenery indoors.
After all, we like our houseplants all neatly tucked away in pots and terrariums - why not bring some of that creativity that you’re so eager to express outdoors, into the Great Indoors!
What’s really exciting is that they’ve got a particular focus on water conservation and drought tolerant plants. If you’ve read my article about climate-proof plants, you’ll know that I’m a big advocate for planning ahead when it comes to surviving and thriving in potential droughts.
When visiting Wisley this weekend, make sure to head to the Temperate House to find the display. You won’t regret the trip!
