Nothing’s off limits to my readers!! Here, I’m taking you with me to the Garden Press Event - where some of the latest tools, plants, and innovations are unveiled to strictly press and media members only. Quick, look like you blend in!

Wandering through the stands, I spotted an array of clever, stylish and downright brilliant products designed to make gardening easier, greener and more fun. From high-tech plant care gadgets to eco-friendly solutions and standout new plant varieties, this year’s event had something for everyone.

You might have spotted these on my Instagram stories, but here I’ve gone into more detail about 14 of the most interesting finds from the show. Whether you're looking to upgrade your tools, boost your plants' health, or simply add something new to your garden, these products are well worth a look.

1. Alfresco Power Lotion

This little bottle is a game-changer for anyone who loves being outdoors but hates bug bites. It’s a super hydrating lotion packed with 22 essential oils, smells amazing, and actually keeps the bugs away. Plus, it’s gentle enough for kids—win-win!

2. fAIRgrow Planting System

If you want healthier, stronger plants, these pots are a great shout. They’re made from Fair Trade natural rubber and help plants develop better root systems, so they establish faster and grow more efficiently. Basically, your plants will thank you!

3. Euphorbia Walberton’s Little Treasure

This little beauty is a must-have if you love a pop of colour in your garden. It’s compact, has bright yellow foliage with zesty flowers, and even changes to copper tones when it gets chilly. Perfect for borders or containers! Available from Farplants.

4. Rose Defender

If your roses always seem to attract bugs or mildew, this is a brilliant fix. It’s a pesticide-free spray that tackles aphids, blackfly, and powdery mildew while also feeding your roses. Plus, it’s bee-friendly and safe for pets and kids!

5. OKO Indoor Smart Sensor

Ever struggled to keep your houseplants alive? This little gadget does all the thinking for you! It measures moisture, pH, temperature, and humidity, then sends updates straight to your phone so you know exactly when to water or adjust their environment. No more guesswork!
