It's the first RHS Wentworth show this week, which I was really impressed about when I visited! It’s a really beautiful location - very new age - like a hybrid between the Urban Show and Hampton Court.
And of course, there were some plant picks to discover...
Agastache foeniculum ‘Golden Jubilee’
I remember when this was first released by Sahin in the Netherlands. It was the first golden leafed Agastache. Exciting to see that it's still around! Lovely, minty fragrance and flowers that the bees adore.

Echinacea purpurea ‘Green Twister’
A really, really quirky Echinacea. They're becoming super trendy and very useful for Prairie planting. The combo of green and pink is sublime.

Abutilon pictum ‘Red Tiger’
This really gave me the wow factor. I even shocked two old ladies when I gasped at the sight of this one - a lovely conservatory plant, but would also be nice outside at this time of year. I think Abutilon deserve a big comeback. I used to grow them with my grandma!

Gladiolus ‘Corsage’
Gladiolus is another plant that deserves a comeback. I'm hoping to visit a grower in a few weeks in order to identify some of the coolest varieties. They are super fancy. I just wish they either had branches or they flowered longer.

Echinacea ‘SunSeekers Carmine’
A really, really unique shade described as ‘Carmine’. A very interesting colour to work with! Maybe combine it with butter yellows, although don't ask me, I'm not a garden designer.
